Our Story
Boat Dog was started from a need we discovered one day when our Golden Retriever, Remi, came with us on the water. He didn't have a place to comfortably lay and the beach umbrella in the rod holder just wasn't providing enough shade. We came home that day and couldn't find a dog bed that was made specifically for the boat that had everything we needed. We bought a sewing machine and created our own that worked for Remi. After a few times out on the boat with his new bed, we realized a lot of people have this same problem so we came up with a plan and Boat Dog was born.
From the day we brought Remi home, we knew he would be our Boat Dog. The very first place we brought him was to our boat (literally); it was love at first sight.
We hope that our Boat Dog products make your water adventures even more enjoyable. Every detail is meticulously created by a husband and wife with a Golden who loves the water as much as we do!
